Daily Coordi: Happy New Year!

Happy new year from Singapore! The Sparklies had a New Year’s Eve gathering yesterday- here’s what I wore.

Here I am in a purchase from Closet Child! This is a 2006 release by Metamorphose, during their annual Sailor event. The red is just lovely. I also really like the box pleats, the little ribbon details and the delightful pockets.

This coordi also marks the first time I’m sporting my new short hair with loli! I’ve done short bob wigs before, but I cut my hair sometime ago, so I was a bit worried about how to wear loli with my hair. Today I curled the ends of my hair outwards; a style I copied from some Japanese girls I saw on the streets. Super cute!

The sheep bag was a surprise find while I was out shopping with Steph and Ivory recently. A cheap, lovely find at Spotlight, an Australian crafts store that has a local branch. It has been dubbed “Sheepy Sheep”! Unfortunately, as Ivory says, Sheepy Sheep sheds shamelessly. Other than that, it’s a lovely find, and I like to hold it close to me as I’m carrying it. <3

Hi dear Alanna, I fell in love with your blog <3

I'm a lolita beginner from México, so actually I don't have a lot of Loli clothes, just one JSK and blouse from Bodyline.
For years I only saw the Japanese brand's webs. In my country is really difficult to buy Loli items, the first option to begginners like me, is Bodyline.

I'm 20 years old, but I saw Lolita Fashion since I was 12-13; sorry for my extense comment but, I really love how you talk about your loli life, and that inspired me so much.

    Sorry for my terrible english!

Dear Nayely, thank you for your lovely comments! I am so glad that you are inspired by Macaron Hearts!

You have been watching loli fashion for almost as long as I have been wearing it! 😮 I’m glad that you’re starting to wear the fashion now too. Have you also considered buying second hand from the EGL comm sales, or buying items from seamstresses? There are some very lovely handmade items out there which you can consider too!

I hope you keep reading, and keep loving the lolita lifestyle! Happy 2011, and I hope that your dreams will come true!
