Isetan Japan Fair Runway Show

Black Alice was invited by Isetan Singapore to showcase our brand at their flagship store in the shopping district of Singapore! As part of the activities, we were invited to their fashion runway (17 October) and also provided a space at their promotion area between 20-25 October to display our stock of lolita fashion.

The models for the runway were chosen by Isetan, and they invited us to help with the styling. I was there mostly to assist with the clothing, accessories and props; hair and makeup was decided by the fashion coordinators hired for the other brands also on the runway. They had some reference pictures from the GLBs that we brought them, so I thought that the hair was done VERY WELL for the girls for their respective outfits!

Watching the girls all decked out in lolita and walking down the escalator runway made me really really proud of them and Black Alice! The models did pull off the looks very well and in particular, I really thought the girl in my red Antoinette Bouquet had the sweetest, cutest face for lolita.

A lot of the local lolitas went to support us, I’m glad that everyone walked away with a positive response! It’s really great, and I think it’s important that the local lolitas at least support the continuing BA venture to bring lolita fashion into the mainstream consciousness.
